Naruto Volume 2 Review

Volume Description: Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura have passed the final test to become junior ninja, and now they want a tougher assignment than daycare. But their new role as bodyguards for the cranky bridge-builder Tazuna, who has super-powerful enemies that include the most lethal of the Mist Ninjas, may be more than they bargained for.

Continuing on from last Chapter.....
So after hearing they are worthless, Kakashi gives Sakura and Sasuke lunch before they can try again. Naruto dosen't get any because he acted to stupid and got caught to much. Sasuke then decides to give Naruto his food because he thinks they should all be prepared for the challenge. Then Sakura decides to copy Sasuke and tell Naruto the thing. Then Kakashi finds them and says they pass because they acted as a real team. And that day team 7 was formed.

Enter: The village hidden in the mist!
So after doing many easy d ranked missions, Naruto wants some real ninja action. But the third hokage always says he can't have any because he is still just a genin. The third hokage was tired of it and just sent them on a c-rank mission.(The higher the letter the tougher the mission) Escort Tazuna to the land of waves. While they were doing this mission, they got attacked by the Demon Brothers. It was a pretty short fight, but Naruto got poison and had to take some ninja tough love to take out the poison. Then Kakashi and Sasuke rapped up the fight. They then figured out while on the bridge that this was not a C-rank mission but a A-rank! But Naruto's team said they still won't give and will still take Tazuna there! After they get out of the boat and into the village, the meet Zabuza. After finding out he is one of the seven swordsman of the mist, they know to play around. Kakashi ends up having trouble with him! After that, right before Kakashi does the last move. Haku appears, she is a shinobi hunter who hunts criminals like Zabuza. After a real fast introduction she leaves with him. Then we see Haku and Zabuza again, we see that Haku is actually helping Zabuza. But back in the village we also see Kakaishi thinking that exact same thing!

Naruto Volume 1 Review

Volume Description: Naruto must pass the difficult test to enter the Ninja Academy; deal with his rival, Konohamaru; and learn to get along with his new classmates, Sasuke and Sakura. Assigned to a three-person team, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura must survive a brutal test against their upper-level ninja instructor, Kakashi. Only two can pass — will Naruto be one of them?

The Pilot
So it starts, first off we have the first chapter of course. First off just by the first page we learn that the 4th hokage saved the village by giving away his life. Then we see Naruto, a care free kid with no ambition it seems. He always seems to get in trouble and will always disobey the sensei(teacher). When it comes around to taking the ninja academy test to see if you pass or fail. What do ya know he failed because he did not know the technique(Transformation). Then we see Naruto sad and depressed.That is when Mizuku finds him, he tell that he can automatically pass if he can get a secret scroll in the hokage room. Quickly getting it, he starts trying to learning the jutsu in it.Meanwhile deep in the village, the hokage is pretty mad about it and sends everyone to go searching. Well the teacher who happen to fail him finds him. But Mizuku also finds him and starts fighting Iruka(the sensei). After a probably one minute fight Mizuku tells Naruto he has the 9 tailed fox in him and that is why everyone is scared of him, naruto is shocked by this gives Mizuku to attack Naruto for the scroll. But right when the throws his large shruiken, Iruka sees and defends naruto but hurts his back. Naruto is really angry at this point and attacks Mizuku using the jutsu he acquired in the scroll: Shadow Clone Jutsu! Then Mizuku is beat up. Iruku is very happy and lets him pass the ninja academy. All in all I would say it was a good first chapter, lots of action and drama is always good for a shonen series.

The Rest Of The Volume
So the rest of the volume is pretty good actually. I will wrap this up a bit more quicker though. After Naruto takes a ridiculous picture, he meets Konohamaru, the 3rd hokage's son. After hanging out with him and teaching him the Sexy jutsu they decide to become rivals. After that Naruto is learned that he will have to work in teams as a genin. He ends up being in a class with his crush, Sakura and his rival, Sasuke. Sense there teacher took to long Naruto decided to pull a prank. Sakura and Sasuke thought he would be too smart too fall for it but they were wrong. So after introductions, Kakakshi(the teacher) decides they will do a test to see if they can get the 2 bells off his pocket. If they don't get it after the timer goes off at noon, they all fail.So pretty much all three of them mess up, Naruto thinks to highly and goes in for a straight out attacks. Sakura keeps on thinking about Sasuke she gets caught by Kakashi and Sasuke things to highly of himself compared to the others so he thinks he can win. In the end Kakashi has enough and says the fail completely and that they can't go back to ninja school because they can't even be taught. Soon we find out though things will go for the better for this team......
